FSSC battles Badger Juice to Draw

El Toro rallied from a two goal deficit to draw with Badger Juice, 3-3. After getting on the board first, the Bulls saw Badger Juice take control of the game with three straight unanswered goals in the first half. Acting player/coach Tom Saxton made some halftime adjustments which immediately paid dividends. Under Saxton's direction El Toro began to pick up the intensity and the game grew a but chippy with several yellow cards issued.

Mid-way through the second half, new guy Mike (last name unknown) finished an easy chance to make the score 3-2. El Toro continued to amount pressure to the BG back line, eventually leading to a Ronnie Thomas goal just minutes before regulation. A draw was a favorable result given that Center back Paul Simpson was forced to play goalie due to several players attending an AARP meeting in northern Michigan.

El Toro is still undefeated for the season at 2-0-2 and stands one point out of first place.

Next game is JAN. 25 at 8PM against CASH NOW SENIORS

Note: The board voted that Chris Hallstrand be fined for missing the post game meeting. This is the second consecutive disciplinary action against Hallstrand, who could be facing a suspension.

I know we lost to those guys last session 3-1, but still if we play smart & every1 plays NORMAL shifts, we shold win! I soccer IQ as a team is roughly 7, i cannot believe some of the things we do on the field!
Anyway, I sure as shit am not playing this "Just For Fun" so lets try not to get down early in every game (we've been doing that lately) & play simple & smart soccer.
Also, I would be hard pressed to believe that any 1 of the last 11 goals were actually goals the were orchestrated well from the other team. Lets stop the panic button, settle down & play smart. Soccer 101 if ur going to turn it over(god 4 bid) turn it over in their half or put it out of bounds just so we can regroup defensively as a team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know some of u r going to be pissed, but be honest w/ urself!

So you fellas are saying that you needed the old guys to win? That you missed us. By the way, this TEAM has always prided itself by the effort and passion we bring everytime we step on the pitch. Let's remember why we still play the game we love and let's make it fun again and start crushing teams instead of allowing them to think they belong on the same field with us.

Mike (unknown last name or place of origin) did, in fact, score a goal, but it was the first goal. Mike Farrar (place of origin the "Berry Patch"), a.k.a. Twin 2, scored the second goal. I'd also like to add a wonderful assist from Coco Sauce on the game tying goal.
