Nothing could stop Dave "The Chief" Sutton on this day. Not the rain, not the sloppy field and definitely not FOGS.
Eighty year old Sutton lead FSSC to victory by notching two second half goals, marking the 37th consecutive season that Sutton has scored a goal in Men's league action. Not to be out done, Seventy-Five year old goal keeper Geoff Gayle made numerous spectacular saves to preserve the 8-1 victory.
The Bulls started off the game strong with Brad "Twin One" Farrar and Ronnie "Offsides" Thomas notching goals within the games first 10 minutes. The match was then played even until the brothers Vance combined for a goal just before the break.
The second half saw a much needed scoring spree spurred by the inspitational halftime speech by Coach Bridgett. The Bulls strung together five consecutive goals, led by Sutton's two, to make the final score 8-1.
