Playing for the Championship wasn't enough to get the Bulls motivated to play quality football, as El Toro lost to Cash Now 4-1. The lackluster play that has been prevalent in El Toro matches for the past five weeks finally caught up to them against a quality Cash Now side.
Cash Now got off to a fast start, capitalizing on their chances to make the score 2-0 10 minutes into the game. El Toro settled down and carried possession but the Cash Now keeper made several saves from close range to preserve the 2-0 lead at half-time. El Toro had some easy chances in the second half but could not capitalize. After a El Toro foul in the 37th minute, Cash Now made the score 3-0, essentially sealing the victory. El Toro was able to get on the board with 10 minutes left in the game but it was too late. Cash Now added one more score to make it a 4-1 loss for the Bulls.
The lack of finishing and failure to win the loose balls were keys to the game. And although the Cash Now keeper played stellar, El Toro could finish a sentence.
